Hi,

Having somewhat re-read what I have written below I feel I should start this with,

Thank You for this site Matt it is jaw-droppingly impressive.

I'm Drew and you probably don't know me better as |dub| since I rarely ever post on HoP and this is my first post here. I was born on the 29th of June 1979 which makes me a 24 year old Cancarian [and a shameless thief of Matts introduction thread layout ;p].

I first discovered Poi at Fistral Beach in Cornwall in the summer of 2001 but was busy doing other things and ignored it. Mid May 2002 at a Liquid Connective party was where I first truly took notice of fire spinning and Poi specifically, a week later I was once again in Cornawall and had purchased my first set of Poi.

I then proceded to learn everything I know of Poi through the Home of Poi website and later the videos posted by all those splendid people with video cameras [PK, Bluecat, Glass, Shok, et al].

Now I am hoping that I will find new stuff to work on to go along with the older stuff I still need to develop.

Already Matt has inspired me to improve my throwing and catching.

Now with the advent of spherculism.com I seem to have moved over to here to, I suspect, continue my lurking, although hopefully not.

I do have other interests than Poi but quite frankly they are somewhat dull and I can't inspire myself to list them.
