i'm Shu a FireDancer from South Africa.
I've been playing with fire toyz (Poi mainly) and thingz for about 3 years now. I jam with:
Poi
Majick Stick
Staff
Devil Sticks
AstroJaxx
Juggling Balls & Rings
'Khento' Sword
and some crazy ideas tht i should have killed myself with!
I've also taken up a couple of other movement forms to complement these...
Latin/American & Ballroom Dance
Salsa Dance
Yoga
Tai Chi (Just Starting)
Capoeira (a little bit)
Newayz.. tht's pretty much me!

I'm totally into taking little bits from many different forms and combining them in my spinning.
Oh yeah, the vids are down at the moment buy i'll get them all up soon, just got back online after changing servers.

i hope to learn a lot here! i got some things to share with every1... Ice-E FyreStorm group are writing a couple of guideline articles, and i'd like to share with every1... once we've completed the tht is!
there is alot of stuff out there on the topics that we're looking at, but there does nt seem to be a standard of sorts, we also have our own adaptations and additions to make with regards to:
Safety
First Aid
Fire Breathing
Fuels and chemicals
We've been having lotsa fun researching and experimenting! Hopefully we'll have something soon... Lemme know if you're all keen to check them out... Unfortunately We have had some issues with our website and have killed it for the time being! Hopefully that will be baq up soon too!
