Hello again!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!
After almost a year on the sidelines I'm back with an internet connection again - although it's a rubbish dial-up and so can't download any movies without waiting a day or two have reached an inconvenient plateau of poidom though haven't really been pushing myself to learn any new tricks as I've found the joy of juggling recently and have been too scared of anti-spin and butterfly hyperloops since first reading about them! (Where are the best explanations so far? Or can all newbies pull them off with ease after the last year?)

Anyway have had to leave bristol for the meantime as had terrible flatmates last year who just came home drunk and argued about politics (yes I know socialism would benefit the whole world but it's not feasibly going to happen for quite a while) which didn't go down well with stoned little me. And so, I've fled the west country back to the home county i call home, living with my parents again is almost guaranteed to have me craving them back in a couple more weeks/days but well we'll see!

Had a good summer away with two friends seeing the sights of europe (sometimes blurred from the night before but my trusty camera stayed in focus Sphism/winksmiley) and meeting lots of very cool and interesting people as all travellers do, hopefully a few of them were sent in this direction, I met some lovely spinners in poland but am not sure if my speech was coherent or my scribblings legible by that point in the night (if they were and you're here then hi!!!!!!!!) Anyhoo just saying hi again and hopefully i'll be seeing some more of you poiple from now on!

Ciao Jimbo

howdy doody. what part of poland did you vist? i was there for a year, and enyojed the pickled gerkins and gowomki (if thats how its spelt). juggling is wicked and ive been getting into it as well but poi still provides me with too many questions not to seek the answers..... or something....

the difficulty of antispin is that it sounds easy, but requires a high degree of control over the poi limited to the fingers. once you can manipulate the poi with just your fingers antispin is very simple because it doesent matter what your arm is doing. i did a post in freestyle called 'transitions of doom' which has some stuff with antispin, although i didnt realise it at the time. you could try a few of them to get started.
