Type gmail.com into google???

Is it my imagination or does google not know what gmail is?

Gmail is changing its name to google mail as there have been problems in the UK due to someone else claiming rights to the name
- dunno if thats anything to do with it-
shouldn't think so though- it'll still be gmail for the rest of the world

it shouldnt affect the us.. technically the US owns the rights to .com and whatnot.. and other countries have had to buy ip's themselves.. whihc is where .co.uk and .rs and what not come from.. other coutnries that have .coms have gotten them through companies that got them from us.. but thats my limited understanding of the net.. so I'm not sure if thats even relevant, but it seems that gmail.com shouldnt be under any proprietary problems..

Live Update: Here in Pakistan google.com.pk is struggling to find gmail. But then pakistani internet seems still to be in its rubberband-powered infancy... And poi's vitually unheard of...
