To learn this particular style of poi I've dreamed up. It's extremely hard to explain, once I start going down that path I'll fix up a video

it's a very good idea to visualise some sphercular stylings before putting them into practice! you should get involved in out theoretical musings on the 'theory of movement' over in the freestyling thread... can't wait for the video!
i'd say my new years resolutions are to:
get a job
move out of home
do some useful stuff
make sure i have fun!
and my spherculutions have to be:
to nail the 3ball/3club juggling i've been working on an try an mould it into some kind of funky style....
to sort out some routines/costumes/shows with burnt toast
to learn to stilt walk
i've been trying to get some funkier stylings with my spinning too but it only works when i feel in the mood for it, so i need to get re-motivated in poi and staff after a few weeks of crap weather and getting fat inside... roll on the sunshine for more spinning power in 2006!

Dub- i did most of yours (job, move out etc) just before christmas and I'm one confuzzled Chutney- I really don't know how people do the job I do, and I have no idea how long I'll be able to stand doing it.... still, you live and learn eh?
As far as resolutions- I'd love to get this place back up to full strength again- I've defected to HOP somewhat, though for what its worth I don't post much, I merely read- on |S| when it was at its peak last year and the year before I was posteing everywhere, but since things have calmed down I've been pretty slack. Doesn't mean I haven't been learning loads of stuff though.
I think this is bordering on Off topic, and its only my second or third post of 06... this doesn't bode well

Yes, one of mine which I forgot to mention is to be an active poster again, as I was when elected to be spherculator, and honor which I feel I do not deserve given my track record the last what, 8 months? I have learned alot, but I want to get back in here. It's sad to see the posts dating to July, and even further than that
Soon, soon I shall start up again... but there are some things I need to complete before I can be on here alot again.
Ah, one other thing on my list, is I am going to learn every under the leg funky move I can! Da da daaaaaa
