Fire from the midwest...

Hmmm, branding is throwing us for a loop. We are the only troupe for a LONG way and are gaining momentum fast (Californians would kill for this kind of demand), and we really need a unique symbol to identify us. For all our artistic ability, graphic design we lack hardcore. We are holding a contest ($100US prize, free tool, ect.) but with no gaurantee of a winner we aren't getting the professional entries we hoped for. Most are scattered variations of flames or the current logo and font. Blah. Some pro input would rule, but budget is escaping us in the off season.
Breathing... good times. Can't say it hasn't been messy at times, but lots of practice has me convinced most of the documented accidents have been just plain negligence / ignorance / improper training. Only one thing to say... if something unexpected happens, hold your breath and take the pain on the OUTSIDE, and save yourself the internal injury. (SHHHHHH! I could be hung in the community for that one...)
Ahh, the beloved fans. I have been working on alot of new things with them, and with the lack of videos / tutorials have realized that I am free to do whatever I want. It's artistic freedom at it's finest! It has improved my overall dance skill three-fold! I will never put them down...
