Hi,
Quick couple of questions from a newbie.
I thinking of taking up diablo but could do with some pointers in regards to purchase.
What size do folks recommend for a beginner, I obviously want something I can grow into but not something which would be beyond my control in the early stages.
also any hints suggestions for correct set-up i.e. string length, string attachment, stick length/material. Any info at all would be great.

Hi
i would suggest having a go of a few different diabolos before purchasing one (and different hand sticks)
there are three main names:
Henry's - circus
Mr Babachie - finesse
yoho/diabig - jumbo
the yoho's are the cheapest...
they^ are all about the same cup siz.
the finesse is 254gm making it lighter then the other 2 at 301gm
so that the diabolos....any Q?
Handsticks:
Henrys - Carbon
short 35cm
Long 41cm
- Fiberglass
short 35cm
Long 41cm
- aluminium 35cm
Mr Babachie
- Energy classic 35cm
- extreme 35cm
so yea try as many different handsticks you can aswell
and most diaboloist will tell you there is only one choice of string: "henrys yellow"
i personaly prefer 'Henrys orange' experiment with different string lengths till you find what you feel is the best for you...
(rough guide, from the floor to the middle of your chest.)
so yea what i say to everyone is "try before you buy!"
