salutations

Hey all... I'm a helicopter pilot/flight instructor from NH, currently in CT... Love spinning things I guess, so I inevitably got into poi.

Been spinning tor 5 years... three or so I didn't touch my poi though. which I'm regretting now.

Currently working on buzzsaw flowers, 5bt iso weaves, Iso everything, and developing my flow.

Cool site!
The reason I joined spereculism is to find out more about poi simulators. I'm not really into coding or anything, but I'm really hoping that someone, somewhere, someday will write a plugin/visualization for music players that randomly dances to the music/acts as a standalone program to help people learn...

Ex. http://www.nullsoft.com/free/milkdrop/ for those of you with winamp... very cool!

I wouldn't regret putting the poi down. I've been spinning since '03, and have put my poi down several times. The largest break I had was from dec '05 until a few months ago. I find that breaks give me a chance to really clear my head and come back to poi with 'different eyes' as well as a renewed vigor.

Anyway, enough of my ramblings. Nice to have you here at the site. I'm sure matt would love to have some discussion about poibot. If he can ever get a break from work Sphism/winksmiley.

sorry for they delay in saying hey. I've been busy with my thesis.
