I just registered today and thought i'd say Hi

I am Michel from The Netherlands. I have been playing poi for about one and a half years now. I actually learned it with fire poi, and started doing fireshows pretty fast. In the beginning it was just some basic weaves.

This summer I made my first sock-poi, and it blew me away from the start. Been doing mainly butterflies, weaves, flowers and wraps. Lately I started doing some Isolations too, but damn those are not easy. I practice almost every day.

The thing that surprised me is that nobody knows what poi is. The people that do know play themselves. I wonder what will happen if everyone knows what it is. The whole world will play poi me thinks.
