Define ~ Cross and Follow

Cross-follow

Club swinging name for the 2-beat weave.

Comments

A move in which the poi are travelling in the same direction split-time and cross from one plane to another plane parallel to that i.e. one poi follows the other.

c.f. weave.

The most basic "weave" type move. Might not be considered a true weave, as poi do not make full circles in the side planes.

I'm not familiar with this term, sorry.

Would the cross and follow be like the cross over except in split time. (ie the 2 beat weave.)

a.k.a the weave... a figure 8 that is symetrical about an axis.. typically the mid/lower x and y axis, although windmills and corkscrews are also cross follows..
