Defined ~ Inwards Spin
I'd say same as forward, but usually refering to spinning in front of you or behind you (wall plane / z plane) If you spin both poi inwards in front of you they come up on the side farthest from the other poi and go down as they get closer to each other.
Defined ~ Inwards Spin
When spinning any of the butterfly family moves, inwards spinning is when the right-hand poi is moving anti-clockwise and the left-hand poi is moving clockwise.
edit: edited to make it more betterer
Defined ~ Inwards Spin

Ha I now know what the inward and outward spin is.
Defined ~ Inwards Spin
wow I always refered to the inward spin as being the arc of the spin that heads toward the body.. while the outward spin was the half of the cirlce that spins away from you.. regardless of direction... as in.. they connect during the inward spin.. well I guess it depnds on the plane.. for instance in a wall plane, when doing a flower you can airwrap on the inward spin, but petal out on the outward spin..
I've also used it to designate when you can do certain transitions and what not..
I guess its a regional thing though...

[=cyan]Inwards Spin
When spinning any of the butterfly family moves, inwards spinning is when the right-hand poi is moving anti-clockwise and the left-hand poi is moving clockwise.
Although this term is more accurate for butterfly moves, the term forwards spin is also used to describe this.[/spin]
