Hi Rovo,
It's nice to see people from home of poi visiting the forums here
Well done for using a variety of different types of poi, I find that to be a very useful learning aid myself. Do you spin different styles depending which set of poi you are using?
So, have any of the videos here particularly impressed you? I'm rather impressed by the under the leg videos.
Rovo says hello
Yeah the under the leg videos and the impossible weaves are pretty intersting ohhhhhhhh he should a section on corkscrews and windmills also plus theres buzzsaws or wheels and all the moves that go along with them i almost forgot about those
Rovo says hello
Yeah, I kinda forgot about corkscrews, windmills and buzzsaws
Oh Well, Corkscrews & Windmills are Exactly the same pattern any how, just in different planes, basic windmill is just a 2 beat Weave over your head isn't it? and you should always practice each of the patterns on spherculism in as many different planes and positions as possible. That reminds me, I never uploaded a 2beat Weave video, oh well, someday
As for buzzsaws I just clean forgot. They are pretty useful but not something which I do often, I mainly use them to 'escape' from other moves.

Yeah but to someone just starting out a corkscrew and a windmill is two entirely different animals
When i first started spinning the first move i ever got was the windmill just cause i translated my freehand glowsticking skills to spinning and just eloooooooooongated the figure 8 pattern you make with your hands also You should do some different beat moves a like 3:2 and 2:1 beat times and some more freestyle just to show people what you can accomplish by practice I hope i don't sound too pushy or something i don't mean for it to come out that way i juss like the tutorials here they r the cleanest ones on the net so far as i have seen

Heya. Not sure if I've seen you around the site much.
Windmills and corkscrews do seem diffrent when you first start. For a really funny move, learn the 3 beat weave behind your head.

I have a total of 201 clips to upload from that 1 video shoot. I've uploaded around 100 of them ~ that's most of the tricky stuff and very little of the basics.
So you're just gonna have to be patient. I figured that the trickier stuff should go online first because you'll be hard pushed to find videos like those anywhere on the net.
More still to come,

Heylo Rovo!
Missy here. I found spherculism from HoP as well, though I find myself coming her far more often. Hehe I glowstring whenever I can get glows...doesnt work too well cause they're so dang expensive online. Poop. But anyways, glad to have you here. :57
