I found this site a while ago and was one of the first people to join the site i am talking about. I think these tutorial vids are well put together and extremely thorough i give em 2 thumbs up. Heres the link: spherculism.com

I wholeheartedly agree. I've still only uploaded half of the clips from spherculism 1 ~ I have set this level at 'initiate' and my goal is to get everyone to this level within 3 years.
But which time I will have released spherculism 2 ~ I have no idea what the content will be but i've learnt lots of crazy things since I filmed the tutorial vids so it'll be new stuff plus much more about how you do the patterns on here and what can be done with those base patterns.
Hopefully by that time I will have secured some funding and actully recieve some money for all this time that i have spent.
Then the fun really begins, I'm focusing on getting into a position where I can travel the world teaching poiple how to teach poi. Anyone out there want me to come teach them?
So as they say 'this is only the begining'. If you look at the tutorials and think 'i'll never be able to do that' ~ you are wrong, I can teach you to do all this stuff and by doing so you will teach me more bout what I can do.
What you wanna do is try to teach someone else how to do this stuff, because it's only through teaching that you will gain Understanding, a little of which will take you a long way.
I never thought it would feel quite so much like family, it's nice.

I'd point to the D.C. area (it's close enough to where I am) but I'll be relocating for college later this year so who knows? Maybe I'll just plan a visit Seattle instead.

A really good site but..... I haven't even get how to download videos on my comp...... I alltimes have to (re)dll them to see them...

If you are watching a tutorial video then you are watching it from your hardrive. If you have a pc then you can find the file in your temporary internet folder.
There is no need to actually 'download' them.

I would say that the tutorials on GyralAuroras.com are just as good, if not better. It may be just because there are many more tutorials on there for specific moves but both sites are still all good.
