Sounds good to me.
Do we want to mention different type of handles? Like sock poi handle would be the knot at the end, glowstick on strings is just a loop (well, that can vary slightly depending on how you tie the strings), etc.
Or perhaps we could just add different types of poi to the Poidia instead? Or do both. The possibilities are endless! :mrgreen:

I think it just needs to be the opposite end of the string/chain from the poi head. because you can wrap the chain up a little and spin it, but that's not the handle, necessarily.. for instance, carry over type moves can be done with the hand, that while the handle is in a different place.. not to mention I can catch the chain during a throw and specifically be spinning my poi and handle, without the chain also being considered a handle.. plus by defining it as opposite chain end from the poi head, you automatically cover, knots, loops, etc..

Yes rev, but I think this is more trying to define a poi just sitting there.....I dont think you'd be thinking all that instead of just looking at the end you hold onto.....but if we are indeed defining the handle while spinning, then right on!

yeah but thers a difference between where my handle is and what I'm holding at times.. my hand cannot be both in my hand and swinging at the same time. that's just absurd...

A poi handle is...well...a poi handle.
But when holding the poi at any point to spin, that point to me is the pivot. Don't know whether this is technically correct though.
