A frustrating cold hello
Hi everyone.
I stumbeld across this site a few days back. The tutorials got me spinning again after a winter of staffswinging and it feels good to be back where I started.
After a horrible winter here in sweden (it´s been cold and dark since november) my mind and body is longing for spring.
I´ve been spinning for a year now but the last couple of months I´ve focused on contact staff and dubble staff. I practise aproxemetly an hour each day and it pays of pretty good.
Beside spinning I climb a lot, I work as a film editor and i just gave up smoking. My girlfrend and me live in central stockholm and this summer will be spent ether on festivals or at some nice crag cilmbing.
Thank you fore inspiering me to start spinning again.

yeh i hear ya bout winter....although on the positive side..you have seen the worst of it and now have some wonderful sunny months to look forward to... i kno the thought of sunshine always makes me happy
we have just about finished summer in my part of the world....so i'm trying to savour every last drop of sunshine before the days become darker and colder

I keep thinking winters over and then it gets cold and starts snowing again. But its crappy english snow and never settles :cry:

ps. I've also recently taken up contact staff and juggling. Double staff to come eventually.

Hi Zodiak, glad you'v started spinning again but it's not like you really stopped if you've been staffing, just changing the form a little!!
I love contact staff and can't wait till it's worth half my poi skill and then I may venture into public with it!!
I've been to Sweden, it's a great place. I went to Jonkoping, Stokholm and some other towns too with work. You have the best summers, it's light for just about the whole day. I love the sun!
