i live and work in edinburgh with tepooka a performing arts charity doing all sorts of crazy mentality in the streets and stages of the Yoo K and europe...
i make spinning vids(over in poiinthepark if anyone fancies a viewing...) and freely admit to being a nerd in this industry.

shocking to have such a poor memory.. but at least now i remember meeting you
hmmmm symmetry... serious problems with that in my head at the moment... i am trying to update my wall-chart of poi(kind of but not at all like glasses families thing on hop) and trying to collate asym things into families, and then sym things, and then planes of symmetry, and axes, and trinity.....oooooh fuck it's driving me mad, esp as its all happening at the end of loooooong days, with no poi having been spun this week til today aaaarrrghhhhhh
we'll be glastonburying en masse again this year, probly only 25 this time; and behaving like loons again :roll:

Heheh, arguing with people here over definitions of things like airwrap/hyperloop has really made me think about it a lot and how it works. And assumptions I've made like that out-in-out hyperloops have to have an even no. of beats inside have been corrected
I'm now leaning towards airwrap = wall plane, hyperloop = wheel plane and nothing more. Because you can turn an airwrap into a wall plane out-in-out by moving the tangle behind you on either side for instance.
I may of course still be talking out of my arse, it's a bugger to nail down

So much to do.
It's funny how this site is so heavily based in poi. Spherculism includes loads of different disciplines and one day they may all be represented here. Thing is I know very little about anything other than poi, and a little meteor. Bluecat's what you might call an all rounder, like a master of all trades.

no, he's fine with it. He uses his acute sense of smell to compensate for it.
Which explains why he perfumes his devilstick, just in case you'd been wondering about that...

In the 6th grade I wanted dreadlocks, but the hair dresser told me that only black people could have dreadlocks and that they fell out when they washed them. At the end of grade 9 I wanted to do something cool to my hair, so I looked dreads up online, found out I was told a bunch of lies, and now I've had them for a little over 3 months.
Greatest thing I ever did with my hair.

my dreads are on second time around...
the first time they were ultra nasty and greasy, and i cut them off after only four months, in a fit of pique...
these ones have come from a shaved head in october 2001, and just been let go since then. they've been trimmed a little in various places to not allow for natural mullet-age.

going to go and talk about it elsewhere...

feeling a bit more sphercularly active at the moment, so i thought i'd dredge this thread up and say helloooooo.
life still madly pook-ing along. more so than ever right now, with gigs past our eyeballs. hmmmm. must be doing something right.
had a really wierd one last night in a hotel for an awards ceremony.... the first and hopefully last time i perform with fire on expensive carpet and 4 yards away from an active sprinkler head with built in smoke alarm.
great tho...
