Hello every one !
I have to apologize for my poor language, but as a member, I had to introduce myself, just for other to know who people coming on the Spherculism are. So I won't write many things, just what is enaugh, ok ?
My name is Mathias, I will be 25 in May. I live in Annecy in France, which is a town not far from Geneva (about 40 km).
I started juggling with devilstick, a year ago, and I first tried Po?in June 2003. Here in France, Po?are called "bolas". Bolas where the heavy balls prisonners had to their feet, attached with a chain, and the word comes from Argentina.
Now, I'm also trying cigar boxes, very difficult !
I made studies in computer sciences, but I won't work in this domain, because it makes me feel not good. So now I'm expecting to become a taler. Yes I know: not any link, but I also do theater, and I love the world of spectacle !
Music : I can't understand the pleasure to po?ith trance music or goa, sorry ! When I watch the videos of Circles Of Lights, I have to cut the sound ! I think african percussions, jungle, dub, are so much better ! Or tekno music such as in free parties (very strong !)
I also listen to ska, jazz, piano concertos, metal hardcore,... anything which is not RnB, or songs with playboys and girls made up with painting! I play didgeridoo and Jew's harp.
Film : my favourite is "Angel Heart" with Mickey Rourke and Robert De Niro.
Book : detective novels
And now I think I wrote really too much, sorry ! But you know me a bit now.
Matt, thank you for this site ! I have many things to learn here, even if it is a bit difficult to see clearly your hands on your videos (that was my little critic, but I hope you're waiting for them to make your site better).

You should not be apologising for your english, it is clear enough to understand and people will ask if they are confused. Well done for learning a second language, it is more than I have done.
I know you have already been posting on the forums but I was looking at the 'Introductions' and realised nobody had replied to your introduction and that seemed a little rude (just a tiny bit) so I though I should say hello. And I have, so well done to me.
I've tried using devil sticks, however I do find them very much harder than poi, so I have given up (my friend loosing my devil stick didn't help much either).
Hope you learn something new and don't hesitate to ask questions if you need to.

I hope we'll meet one day, you and others on the spherculism, why not during a juggling convention ?
