2 great fire poi vids

Think these show two completely different styles of poi spinning...and both are done brilliantly with some great time delays used on the trails toward the end of the second!

THOSE ARE FRIGGIN AWESOME!!Thank you soooooo much for posting those vids! Iffen you are one of the guys then RIGHT ON , if not.......thanks for posting them woo hoo Sphism/gigglesmiley That seriously made my day haha

I've been a huge fan of Nick's spinning since I first saw these. I took a class with him when he was in San Francisco, and he's even more impressive in person. Just incredible amounts of control over the poi in every conceivable position. He's also the guy that leads off the HOP COL4 video.

I wish it was me! think he really goes with the flow of the music and does have a wicked style! found it on google Sphism/smilesmiley

Mmmmm....

I've seen his earlier vid before, fucking amazing stuff. So fluid and nice, really must make more of an effort to get flowers Sphism/smilesmiley

Now THATS POI! :3

he only did a couple moves and its easly one of the best poi vids ive seen...

awesome style and control... i love the slow spinning... i think it takes a damn good mastery of the art to be able to spin slow and continuously and make it look that good.... the spins make it my fav

anyways... thx for posting the link to that... new inspiration Sphism/gigglesmiley

I seem to recall seeing this before, but it was definately worth another look. It's amazing how your understanding of what other people are doing evolves over time.

I'm gonna have to work on that control now. Work work work.

You might have seen it before because one of them is pretty much the same footage that's on COL4.

By the way, Nick's going to be at the Pismo gathering, and he's going to be doing some teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area afterwards.

D/l'ed that ages ago now and just rewatched it. Its just such a charming vid- the style, the movement, the fluidity. Different to many vids thanks to its complete lack of frantic energy- the control is really impressive.

Chut (in need of practice Sphism/smilesmiley)

I've seen nick with fire 2 before. Great video. Anyone know what kind of wicks are being used in it?
