Straight-arm spinning

It's great! Sphism/gigglesmiley

There's so much you can do with straight-arm stuff, and best of all it's not insanely technical Sphism/winksmiley

Weaves - SA weaves, 5-beat weaves, windmills and so on. Straight-arm fountains are very nice, you end up with a sort of flower effect on the high transition.

Butterfly weaves - also very nice, and they're easier than standard butterfly weaves I've found as well.

Tangles - under the arm (from fwds) or over the arm (from rev) airwraps. There's some nice moves where you airwrap and then go into straight-arm and undo the airwrap at speed, and other things to play with in a similar vein.

Isolations - shoulder isolations where the centre of isolation is halfway between your shoulder and elbow on the straightened arm and your other hand travels along it. And separated isolations where the poi are parallel and isolated but with different centres of rotation.

I'm sure there's more I've forgotton, but anyway...

Lol- yeah, thought it was- the fact it was under a post about straight arm move led me to think it might be some sub-sub-derivative (and I haven't played with straight arm much, so I don't know Sphism/confusedsmiley)

And isolated! And inverted! And BTB!

Reminds me of mine and Alex's BTB horizontal isolated inverted 360 degrees turning buzzsaw, which we invented solely because we were being silly and trying to combine as many things as possible Sphism/gigglesmiley

:25

Hmm.. more work work is needed methinks (and I was chuffed about my 5bt turns)
