what is the best model of fire chain ?

Hello !

I would like to buy new fire chains because the olds are dead ... :-(

The model I had came from India and was made with chain ... what is not easy to hyperloops. And I don't know what is the best sort of fire chains to do this trick (the other trick are ok).

Is the model with cable fun ? (I don't know if it's the good word ...)

If anybody have tips for me ... :roll:

When you say you want to buy new fire chains do you mean just he chain or the whole thing? you can try

I think ball chain is quite good for loops from what I've seen (can't quite nail them myself but they're coming on if only I could do my sock tricks with my chains!) They're relatively low friction and no tangles. Go to http://www.ballchain.com/ and see if they have anything that takes your fancy. They do all sorts of shapes to that look quite interesting and they sell all the links etc that you'd need.

I've never used cable but I can think that they're be really pants. You'l need quite thick cable to deal with all the heat but you'll lose a lot of flexibility.

I've seen some models on HOP shop but I never try others than classic poi with chain made with rings. (I don't know if it is very clear ...) :roll:

In fact, I would like a quite heavy model because I like swing slowly and my old fire po?were too light.

I think that each person have different feeling with different sort of fire po?o it's difficult to recommand one of them.

But if anybody had a bad experience with one and would like to advice against it, it should help me ! Sphism/gigglesmiley

I like ball chain, I've never use anything else though. Make sure you get the proper length though, I didn't. Sphism/sadsmiley

I use your standard chain... Hyperloops work pretty good, but they're pretty heavy.

I find cable too light and its not flexible enough to tangle

Never used ball chain...

I like ball chain the best ... and make sure you use the proper connectors. (my fire poi went flying the other day) :oops:

the one thing i like about cable..... ive got fire pois with 2 pretty big wicks on each chain wel its not a chain its cable but i like it there cuz it makes them a lot lighter otherwise they're really heavy bastards so theres 1 good thing about cable for u all Sphism/gigglesmiley
