Tutorial Videos

OK, so I'm technically challenged. :54

I would ***love*** :42 to get ahold of the tutorial videos.

Is there any way to do an old-fashinoed video-tape or send them on a CD-Rom or something?

Of course, I would pay for shipping/handling/media and whatever other bonus you might want to tack on.

Matt - could you pm me?

fingers crossed,
Sauce

There's been talk of copying everything onto cd and sending it out for say £5 + p&p

Thing is that i'm a bit of a perfectionist and i want to make something reallly fly, all singing all dancing. But of course i can never find the time to do it.

Now all these videos would fit onto a cd, that's all the ones that are up already (100) plus all the ones that I haven't put up yet (another 100) They would be slightly better quality but they wouldn't loop at all. Completely uncut.

I'm totally in 2 minds about what to do.

Any ideas.

You could always pop into an internet cafe

It's a good idea to put them on a CD, even if they are unedited. I've found it very hard to save these flash files to my HD. I couldn't download them with a download manager, I had to shearch for them in the temporary internet files...
IMHO when you put them on a CD, they should be in AVI format, because I haven't found any way to slow down a flash movie, but you can do this with some movie files if you have a good movie player.
And it would be great to see the vids in slow motion, because it's easier to see and follow how your hands and the poi are moving.
In these flash files I get dizzy when watching your hands Sphism/winksmiley

flash actionscript:

onClipEvent(load){

c=0;
slow=1;

}

onClipEvent(enterFrame){

c++;
if(c==slow){
nextFrame();
}

}

If speed is 1 then the animation plays every frame if speed is 2 then it will play at half speed because it will count to 2 before going to the nextframe.

Avi's are much more tricky to control IMHO

Yeah - I can definitely pop into a cafe or even go to a friend's house to watch. THat's cool. But also - I'd really like to support the site, too, so if you're seriously considering putting together a video or CD or something - defintely contact me. I would DEF spend more than 5 pounds to get to learn from you, and to further this artform.

By the way - thanks for all of this ... but a simple thanks doesn't seem to do it justice ....

I hear ya sauce, whenever he makes a cd, he'll get a good amount of money from me.

If there's a CD of video's I'd buy it, as long as there not all .wmv files.
