Greatings BhodiLoco - Welcome to Spherculism!

Some nice pics there- I still have to get me some fire kit, though my aerotechs are satisfying my night time illuminatory needs right nowSphism/smilesmiley

See you about no doubt,

Chut

hey there nice to have u with us Sphism/gigglesmiley
uve got some nice artistic talents Sphism/gigglesmiley -"look into my eyes"

Mr Chutney, what r aerotechs?

Emigre- they're the very expensive and flashy (Sphism/winksmiley) end of glow juggling equipment. I bought Spiralx's Glo Meteor Pros off him a couple of weeks back and have been smiling ever since- They're a different spin to socks or (I'm guessing) fire sets, due to the long heads and short bodies, but they're great fun, and are good to have on hand when you can't spin fire in your kitchen Sphism/smilesmiley They are expensive, but I don't regret my purchase.

Head to www.globall.com and want some Sphism/smilesmiley (for a giggle watch the programming video)

Chut

Hi there. Cool pics. Sphism/gigglesmiley

Hope to see you around.

Yeppers,

Been spinning for almost a year now (tho' its been an obsessive year). I just recently ran into Nick from Vancouver; you know, the guy with the poi spinning thing and the face...(?), and I bought his monkey fists. I was going to buy some basic cathedrals from the luxotica kids, but he need the $$$, and I needed some pants (thanks again Nick!).
I have been practising with some heavy home-mades, so the fists are fantastic for me, tho' they burn, and burn, and burn.

I love the trance of the spin, I love the integration of the spin, and I just love the fun of the spin. Can't stop now...

It's great to discover the whole spinning community out there!

Hey loco

Wow, soak it all up! How long -do- they burn for?

I know what you mean....

Monkeyfists are a bit heavier, soak up more fuel, and therefore burn for almost twice as long as 4' cathedrals...a rough and maybe dizzy estimate.

It's hard to gauge time while spinning through the roar and flicker, but judging by how "tired" some more experienced spinners have become (because thier natural routine involves lighter and shorter-burning poi) it must be considerably longer.

I'm still a bit video shy, but one day...
