Female Physics student, 18. I like climbing rocks, riding horses and spinning fire. Oh, and Historic Re-Enactment too
I live in Croydon (S. London) but am at Royal Holloway uni, near Staines. I started spinning staff in September, and poi in November, and desperately want a pair of stilts but the weather is too minging to practise. I've also tried diablo, but I've written it off as a complete no-no. I've tried slackline too, while I was working at a campsite/climbing centre in the summer, but managed to do one spectacular fall and said "never again." And I do not like pineapple.

I hear ya w/ that, I didnt find it as very helpful or enjoyable having come much later... seemed like you were kinda swept aside being new. Thats what I love about spherculism (this'll sound like i'm sucking up but who cares), all the members actually welcome with wide open arms everyone new and people really have a voice if ya know what I mean. HoP is all good but spherculism is better in me opinion. Just mine, and that is small but meaningful :34 :42 :34 :42 E gad, you dont like pineapple?!

Your'e so right Marf. HoP Is lovely and fluffy and everyone is really nice. It does feel weird in there bein a newbie but with so many folks you can't expect attention all the time. Like you say, just stick your oar in and get on with it! That's all I did!
But this place totally has the best vids but I could never say which was a better site, it's much niceer laid out here too

How's life at holloway treating ya?
Does anyone from brunel come here? That campus is being shut down, and Uxbridge have banned them from having a party.
The year i left we got a massive army tent and pitched it down in the woods behind campus, had a 3 day camp out which was awsome.
This year we are planning on coming back form a final 2 finger salut to the uxbridge arseholes.
If you know anyone there then they should get in touch with me so we can organise a phatty leaving party.

Got exams coming up soon; a bit stressing because they keep banging on the building site of the new halls, aargh!! Incidentally, they have a web-cam link for the building site on the RHUL site... Those builders are so damn lazy!! *lol* My friends are trying to convince me to go to both the JBAS boat party (did they have those in your day??!) and the Summer Ball, but I think I'm just gonna run around the outside of Founders in a ballgown as opposed to forking out £60 to get in!! And at some point we're going to make a spinning video around campus (there may be a bit of buildering included too) but not with fire... I'd quite like to finish my degree here!!
