Hello 8O this is way cool. So I've been crushing around this site for a about a week, and I must say...this is AWESOME! 
It already feels like home, so I'll just unpack and make myself comfy. I guess I should say a wee bit about myself, I live in Portland, OR (I'm not sure how close that is to Poi Kid), I've been spinning for about a year, although I haven't practiced much until recently (it rains alot and I live in a small place, for now, I'm moving to a bigger one next month. YIPPY!) The only thing I do so far is poi, I've only done fire a half a dozen times or so, but I'm hooked. I'm so glad I found this place, and can't wait to meet new poiple and learn new things. I checked out the vids, you cats have some crazy funky moves!

I knoow after like the first week for me I was officially addicted.
Portland eh? Neato we should definitally get together for a spin sometime! Hmm should be like.....uhh.... 2-3 hours maybe?? Something like that. Eekers if memory has failed me once again 8O Heh stilll tho, its much too close for us not to!!

8O thanx for all the warm welcomes. so, to answer some of your questions. my favorite color i must admit is pink, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, and girly. my favorite fruit... cherries, and well berries, I do live in oregon. there's nothing like FRESH berries, well fresh anything is always better. poi kid, we should get together for a spin, do you live by seattle? i guess i should just get my map out and look. you folks have moves i didn't really know existed or i at least didn't know the names and such, i checked out the tutorial vids, wow! i was really amazed by the hyperloops, i can't do them for anything, all i get is tangles. i'm not sure if my practice poi are just not suited or are too long or what, but as with everything i've learned so far, i shall keep trying, no matter how many times i hit myself in the eye. 8O (i love this little smiley) 8O 8O

Speaking of berries, our land here is being taken over by blackberry bushes...that have already started putting out fruit
But... they are slowly creepingtoward the house, 'guised in innocent flowers..just waiting for an unweary traveler to come along, to ensare in its midst.... :evil:

I can do very little of the tutorials. But in poi you are always learning, even the 'jedis' are still learning.
Hey concering the 'loops n tangles, give it a go with socks. Mine improved tremendously with those...'cept now I can't do them with me regular poi..hm.. ah well I'll work on it.
But yah socks are a blessing in poi, really should try them
