Just wanted to say HI!

Just wanted to say Hi again, it's been a while. well since I last wrote we found the guy that we saw on the beach. We actually spin with him now. How cool is that? I am still spinning poi. My better half has discovered he likes ropes better. As for the kids, well some of them still spin poi, but my youngest son has moved on to staff. He actually uses it with fire.(With close supervision from myself and his dad.) The girls now use fans also on fire. My oldest son is 12 now and he wants to spin lit poi so bad, but I am very nervous as the fire is swinging and he has a pretty bad temper and will throw the practice poi if he can't do a move. So until he can control himself better we will stick to only fixed fire because he also uses staff and fans. So that is my update we do still spin at least once a week and even as we all discover different interests in different toys we can still play together as a family.

Hello again! We are still playing together every Sunday at beach! Well, hubby got an 8ft whip about a month ago. He loves it. I tried to crack it, but it was too heavy. So then I tried a 4ft . That was a disaster. I cut my chin with it it was too fast. So now I have found the whip for me a 6ft I am so excited! I can even crack it. The kids are gaining confidence with their toys. Our oldest son is 12 and he seems to be a natural at teaching. He ends up with all the newbies at the beach teaching them the basics.
