hyperloops
I was wondering if someone could maybe explain what a hyperloop is. When I watch the clips everything is going so fast it's hard to tell what is going on.Maybe if I put the picture and an explanation together I can figure it out.

hyperloops
Hyperloops are where the poi tangle about half way down their length to make a small circle that will untangle if you move it across to the other side of your body. An 'easy' one is:
 Start with backwards three beat weave
 This move starts when you are on the left side of 3bt backwards weave and your right hand is at 12 o'clock, and your left hand's at 6.
 Connect the right poi string (it helps if you learn with sock poi) with the left poi string about half way between the poi heads and the handles, and pull up and across with your right hand, while keeping your left hand held still in the 6 o'clock position, so both poi move over to the right and untangle.
 The poi should tangle on the left and quickly move across and untangle on the right.
 Repeat back from right to left and so on...
You can also do this move by connecting the poi near the handles rather than half way down the string, which gives you quite a slick and simple version of 5 beat backward weave which keeps a constant diameter. Just remeber to lead with your right poi when going left to right, and lead with your left poi going right to left.
Hope that helps,
