I just want to introduce myself . Well my name is Max , I'm 17 years old and Iam from Germany . I spin with staff since about 15 months , with poi since 10 months . I began spinning after I saw a friend doing some fire staff . Back at home I took a staff and tried to do some tricks - and I really had no problems doing a figure 8 or anything like this without training . So I thought that this could really be a nice thing . Now I'm addicted . Iam spinning about 1 hour a day with poi , staff and double staff . I really love these arts but the problem is that here is absolutely NO spinner . I live in Bavaria and there are only a few poiers but they are really bad , they can do a weave and a butterfly and do these arts only to earn money , much money . A fact that makes me sad ...

Anyway my other hobbies are playing the trumpet ( should practice more ) since 10 years and making movies . Last year I finished my first short movie and even won 2 movie awards . That's just my dream getting a director one day .
