Does the new site look nice?

I've made a new theme for spherculism, it should all look dark grey with blue bits.

If not then you might wanna hit Ctrl +F5 (pc) to reload everything.

It's actually a theme i worked on for the wildcat website, i just change the header and highlight colour for spherculism.

Hope you like it, i just got so bored of that default theme we had before i just had to change it.

This still means i've had no time to actually design the look of this site, but it's prettier than it was.

Any thoughts, like, does it actually work???

My background is still white for most of the page even if I reload. The button graphics need to be cleaned up... in particular look at the Forum Index page buttons that show the status... and the buttons at the bottom of each thread (ie Post Reply).

I haven't changed the standard buttons, those status ones are just dirty.

Post reply looks fine to me, little bit dirty.

WHite backgrounds??? hmm You could always try changing

Your Account >> Theme to Wild

and

Profile >> Board Style to WildForum

I got a bit of a shock when I logged on today. The turquoise is really nice with the grey and I like the dark grey, light grey thing going on with the messages when a different one is posted.. It's better than white, well done Matt for being ace again :5

yeah, it's getting there, still not 100% but better than that old one

Some text is hard to read, coloured text looks really bad.

One day there'll be a load of themes and you can all select the one you prefer.

Yah the first buttons in the forums are a little sketchy but thats totally fine

Really enjoy the darker colors.. more relaxing.

I'm finding it really hard to read at the moment, definitely having to squint. Unfortunately there's no way to get rid of the green/grey in the comments, just the sidebars it looks like Sphism/sadsmiley

heyz matt...i just dropped back in after a looong time away to find a fun new look..its cool..
i was having heaps of trouble reading the text to start with..but have since changed the theme which has helped alot..altho i still find some of the buttons really hard to read (like black text on dark grey or sumthin)...

part from those few tings...change is kool

go chekc your settings... and change your theme to wild.. then you wont have that..

and everyone that's having problems adjusting? do you normally use light background dark text... because I prefer quite the opposite and found myself with little need of adjustment... but others that are not used to said schemes ahve had problems...

also what is light like at near your computer.. glares on the computer can make this text hard to read..

Am i right in thinking that the only board colour is variations on grey?

Rev - for me, I've always had light themes for phpBB boards. I'll adjust, but i need to change the main theme back to a dark colour so i have white text Sphism/smilesmiley

Vixx- Yellow is a gorgeous color. My sis certainly shares that opinion with you Sphism/gigglesmiley She doesnt much like the grey and her fav color is yellow

Once i've added a few more themes you get to choose which you prefer.

If anyone knows how to make nice themes then we could use yours too.

The animation will be back but apparently it doesn't work on mozilla.

Grey does look like rain, but it also gives the impression that we know what we're doing. Which we do of course Sphism/winksmiley

Like i said, this is the wildcat theme. The spherculism one will be far more fluffy.
