:57 heyhey im new to poi, less than a year, but live in the armpit of the universe and have noone within 100 miles of me that spins what i have a BURNING desire to learn is all about spinning with steel wool to make sparks! can anyone help me?? ive heard of using cans stuffed with the wool and building cages of wire to pack with the wool, but cant find directions for either of these please PLEASEE help!

I don't know anything about wire wool really, except there are poi called Black bush and they seem to be the coolest way to use wire wool.

my color is BLUE any blue or black! yeah definetly black and i just gotta do this to prevent aging ya know? any ideas please! ( not about the aging ive got that whipped lolol)

for more have a look at me website there are lots of ways of doing sparks, using baked bean cans, whisky tins and allsorts, i use cages, probably the best of a bad bunch of nasty mutilating toys

hey there, welcome to the land of circles. a lot less dangerous then wirewool are poi which have hot coals in cages. heat them up, spin them, and sparks fly out. the range of the sparks is far less than wirewool. seen them used in spain by a guy in bear feet with no tshirt. no idea unfortunately where to get hold of them. good luck!

Hi, yes, we were tying it. I just dont remember the no. of the type of that wool. Have to ask. But best i know, would be some little back made of some wire net on the end. It is necesarry to have non plastic dress (of course) allaround the body, cuz peaces of the wool can burn into your skin if you not defend. It is necesarry to be carful because of the people around allso, hold save distance from the others and flamable materials too.
The effect doesnt last for a long time.

Ok, The wool no. 2-4. 2 goes of really fast but makes a good effect, 4 lasts longer, but it is not sparlkling to much. no. 3 was recomended.
