Defined ~ Inverted

Inverted

A move done in planes that face each other i.e. the hands are pointing at each other. For instance the buzzsaw is an inverted move.

This is arashi's definition off of HoP and makes sense to me anyway Sphism/smilesmiley

yeah except he doesnt hold that in action..

Ok, so inverted seems to mean where a plane is facing inwards rather than outwards. So a buzzsaw is both planes inverted for instance.

Makes sense to me Sphism/winksmiley

That fits with the idea I had in my head.

Yup yup

Inverted

A plane is inverted if it is facing inwards rather than outwards. For instance in a buzzsaw both planes are inverted.

inverted:
a move is inverted if the poles of both hands' axes are aligned on the same axis and facing each other (or past each other but still aligned)---><---, --<-->--, and there is a crossover during the time which the poles are still facing each other.

without these specific parameters a move is considered inside. inside is the same as outside but in a different position in space, usu. 180 degrees from the outside, IOW for an normal forward weave inside is the same thing as btb.

Ok, that makes a lot of sense... and the notcoleman5 is inverted, not half inverted...

edit; oops i was just driving home from poi class and i realised that the definition there for half inverted is totally WRONG, i got caught up in the moment all excited about my little text arrows Sphism/confusedsmiley the half inverted description i posted in the hop inverted weaves thread is right so i'm just deleting that from the above post
