Defined ~ Straight-arm

Straight-arm

A variation on spinning in which one arm is held out rigidly during all of a move.

This technique can be applied to any number of moves - there are straight-arm weaves, windmills, thread the needles, hyperloops etc. It also breaks the symmetry of a move by having one arm straight and one moving - for instance there are two straight-arm forwards 3 beat weaves, one with the left arm straight and the other with the right arm straight.
