Thanks Saucy!
I just got my new cathedral head's in the mail yesterday. Straight out of brooklyn from spherculism's own Saucy. I can't wait to try them out tonight. I've never spun with kevlar wicks only towel wicks so tonight should be great. I'll let you guys now how it turns out. Thanks once again Saucy. ![]()

Thanks Saucy!
I can't wait to hear about it, Rovo!!
I really really hope you like them -- otherwise I'm in big trouble, since you announced it on spherculism.

Thanks Saucy!
They worked great Sauce. I went on a little trip with my friend last night. hehe. He has never seen me spin before so we left his house after we drank our tea and then we set out to get some kero. The whole night was full of strange happenings. Like buying a gatorade just to dump it into a water bottle so i could fill it with 50 cents worth of kerosene. This caused the lady in the store to look at me like i am crazy especially when i only pumped 34 of the 50 cents of kerosene i paid for. After gettin the kero we walked across my town and that was just insane (walking on old railroad tracks in the dark with no light can be interesting). Finally we got to this spot in the woods where i was going to spin and i spun and they worked great. Itwas a crazy night. All in all though i give Saucy's euipment two thumbs up.
Thanks Saucy!
Saucy's wicks are great. I have a pair of them.
Thanks Saucy!

Awww ... I heart you guys. You are going to make me blush.
And Achluo: your new super-duper, extra-strength nylon tubular webbing handles are on the way. I hope the temporary ones are holding up OK.

Thanks Saucy!
I can't wait to see these new handles. The ones I have now are great.
Four burns added to the wicks last night, one wick always goes out before the other, any idea to why?
Thanks Saucy!
Yikes! I was out in the desert for the past two weeks - away from all phones and computers etc etc etc ... so I'm very sorry I didn't see this sooner.
If one wick is going out before the other, my guess is that one is folded tigheter than the other, leaving larger gaps between the sheets and thus burning faster.
Have you tried tightening the nuts? You may need to peel back the bottom layer of kevlar to reveal the hardware ... it depends on how much the difference is bothering you.
Another possibility is simply that you are spinning them differently ... is it always the same wick - or the same hand?
And I don't know why you didn't get the handles - I put them in the mail before I left. So much for the US and/or Canadian post office. I'll make a new pair as soon as I get some materials. Unfortunately, I'm all out right now - passing out gifts at burning man cleaned me out.
Speaking of which .... I better start my BM2004 post!!!
