Off to School
So as of a couple days ago I'm a college kid. 
I'll be residing in Pittsburg because of that. (Anyone in the area drop me a line, k? 
) Things are going great, but I'm rather busy what with meeting people and orientation activities and just settling in. So I can't garuntee a consistent presence for while, but I'll try to be around fairly often. Met two people in my dorm who spin poi, going to try and get a small group together. Wish me luck!

For all you UK folks, "College" in North America is equivalent to your "University" and "School" is used generically to refer to any educational institution rather than just primary education.

Anyway, Raven - you have an excellent time at school -- and good luck with getting the group together. Isn't poi a great thing to have in common? When you're just getting to know people, it's awesome to have something in comon to break the ice -- and poi is PERFECT. I wish I was doing it when I was in school.

Thanks a lot guys. :hug: Things are mostly going really well, just need to clear up some stuff dealing with scheduling and credits (there's credit I should have but don't...it's a pain :evil: ). I've met another spinner or two, one says he's getting some fire poi sent here so at some point we'll be having a go with that. :twisted: Should be fun. Think I'm gonna have a blast here.

Student life is awsome! good locuk with the group dude. i'm about to move back to bournemouth for my last year i'm estatic. can't wait. there a big community that meet up in the main park so gonna check that out.

I'm in the business school here. Mostly taking general education courses right now, though. Having a great time, but it's been keeping me pretty busy so far. I think I've met enough spinners to get a group going, now it's just a matter of getting them all in one place. Preferrably with poi.
