spinach sessions...
morning.
haven't been here in a while, but thought i'd drop in and shamelessly promote myself.
as mentioned by orbit in another thread, poi in the park is back online and showing new vids.
the spinach sessions are my latest attempts at spinning in public, and tho already 4 months old i think are my favourite of my own vids for a while, even tho there are some technical hitches(you'll see).
enjoy

Have just watched all 3 back to back...
Bluecat stop it! Just when I think I'm getting there you put out a vid and show me what spinning is all about
You did the same with Black and Blue pt 2, and most of the spinning in that is not a patch on the SS trilogy.
I'd try and write which bits in particular I really liked, but theres just to darned much- brilliant work- much inspiration- thankyou!

All very nice indeed!
Lots of ideas there, although oddly some of the bits you're doing are also stuff I've been playing with here, mainly entries into hyperloops from odd places. Like grabbing the end of one poi to form a loop like you do in this but going into it from a stall through the loop... takes good aim though!

Woaw !! 8O Very very nice videos (like the others) !
Lot of work for me during winter ...!
Bluecat, I have a question :
If I don't make mistake, you are in Tpooka team...?
I saw you show with glow staff in EJC in Carvin during an open stage which were splendid ! But I don't understand why you do it with light in the top ?
Because the funny effect with glow staff disappear when there is light around ... I think !
So, cheers for your creativity and your good work with pois and staff !
Your videos are very appreciate in France !
See you !

hey frederique...
yes i am part of te POOKa, and here is an answer of sorts..:
we did not have our own lighting guy with us... we wanted lighting on all the bits where you need to see the people performing, and then lower lights for the spinny bits... but this is difficult if you are trying to persuade a stressed lighting engineer who has never seen the show before...
also we like the body movements too, and didn't want to completely black out the stage, but there was wwaaaaay to much light that night.
spiral you are the third or fourth erson to say that.... strange.... i'ev actually been working other things of late, mostly throws and style....
glad you enjoyed the vids
