Intro for Matt Therapy

Hi there
My name's Matt Therapy. Been doing poi for about a year now, was compelled to learn after seeing someone do fire poi and never looked back since.

I live just outside London - like DJing, production and dance music in general, graphic design, cats, cooking.... Err, I'll stop now. Sphism/confusedsmiley

You live close to London? Do i know you? Are you local? Have you been to Spitalfields poi workshop? They let you in even if you're not local you know. It's a disgrace. Outsiders! They come to the workshops in gangs of one.. or.. two, they loiter and gaze upon the precious things of the workshop. Soon i may be compelled to "take action"...

Do we know each other? Not sure - I do know SpiralX and various friends of his. Also used to DJ at Planet Angel until recently. Does that ring any bells?

I've heard of the workshop at Spitalfields - various people have told me about it. I've been meaning to get down there for a while, but it's a fair way to go mid-week. But hey, I'll give it a go. Not gonna be until after the New Year though.

Thanks for the map but I don't need it - I've been there loads of times. I love it round there - the market's good and The Spitz is a great venue - do you know Chris who works there?

Hello, you sound suspiciously like my alter ego.

I used to go to the warp and helped Angel and Pete before Planet Angel started it's own night. That was years ago tho.

I work as a graphic designer, tried djing but gave it up after discovery poi Sphism/smilesmiley and learnt most things from my time as a cat and prefer my more magick name m.

Good to virtually meet you anyhow, enjoy your stay and as always if there is anything I can do to help you out, just say the word.

Thanks! (about the web graphic - it was hard work generating those images but it really paid off)

And thanks for all your effort in putting those lessons / videos together and making them available on-line. A lot of that stuff is beyond me at the moment but it's great to have such a resource available. Nice one!
