PLAY FESTIVAL is arriving this year, organised by members of the community for the community.
We're a non-profit organisation who have the dream of putting on a festival for anyone who has any interest in object manipulation. From poi spinning to balloon modelling and anything inbetwen. It doesn't matter if you're a time trodden proffesional or just starting out you're welcome to come and enjoy the pleasures of PLAY.

Doors open Friday midday and camping is Friday and Saturday evening, shows and performances are on Friday and Saturday night, and there'll be as many workshops as we can possibly fit in, and it's all for £15.

There is a forum on the website where you can contribute all your ideas, ask questions and get what you want out of it. We need your help to make this a success, and if you've suggested it there's no excuse not to come

=) Workshops - We want to hold as many workshops as possible, if you have something to offer and you think you could spend some time formalising it and teaching it to others let us know

=) Performance - We're well into the process of arranging the live
entertainment, Primarily show performances including fire spinning, jugling and etc but also live bands to keep you all on your toes and boogieying into the wee hours.

We'll have late night fun - we won't stop be stopping at midnight, although legally we'll have to stop performances and live entertainment we'll have a late night Marquee with refreshments on sale in the form of tea and cakes until you feel the need to fall asleep!

You may have seen the poll here from the inseption of the idea and you may have heard about it since. If so, you know what it is so get to the site and contribute to make PLAY the best object manipulation fest you've ever been to!

If there's something you've heard about that isn't on the web site yet feel free to post and ask about it. We've got tons of stuff to add into yet (it's a work in progress) cuz we really have just put the site up to make sure folks are aware of it, it'll be in continuous development right up until the opening day and probably afterwards too!
