[EDIT] Now have watched vid- Dude, thats a really slick style you have there- I really liked the fuidity and technicality of your spinning. The only thing I noticed was that your throws and stalls (all very nicely executed) were I think exclusively done by your right hand- thats hardly a criticism and the only reason I picked it up is that I've been working loads on left hand throws, stalls tapbacks etc so its in my mind
That extremely trivial point aside, I really liked the vid- BTW were you using asbestos gloves or do you just not like your hands- holding fire heads!?! Madman

hands have calloused over time... just gotta keep doing it frequently and not stop, the more often you do it the longer you can hold it. i stopped spinning fire for a couple months when i got too busy, i came back and lost the ability to hold it for a long time... got up to a full 3 seconds a while back. doesn't seem like a lot until you count it out...
yeah, i have been working on left handed throws forever and can't quite get them. i just don't have the dexterity for it, but i'm still working on it. thanks for the tip, i really want to learn them so i can do juggling patterns and what not.
yousendit.com has a 25 download limit to it... but yeah, seems too good to be true. youshareit.com is even better, 100 downloads but 100 MB filesize limit, should be enough. ad supported, though.

almost never spin glowsticks, only at raves and what not... mostly just unlit fire poi, sometimes socks if i'm practicing hyperloopish stuff or if i'm feeling fragile. thanks a lot for the compliments, i love hearing that my spinning is at least a little bit unique. i've never really understood what's different about my spinning, but a lot of people say i have my own style...

I think his style is a combination of HOP soloist style and the aggressive Santa Barbara style.

never really thought about santa barbara having its own style, but you're totally right... we do spin pretty aggressively, but the one thing i'm missing is a lot of through wraps and isolations that is so synonymous with SB spinners. I isolate and I through-wrap, but not NEARLY as much as people like Fire Dave (who, by the way, is still the best spinner i've ever seen, either on video or in person. i really wish this guy was online, or posted vids, because he's a trip. you can see some of his older stuff on COL5).

I think you and dragon need to meet up and practice together for a few months. your two styles seem similar, only dragon is super aggresive compared to your smooth more artsy sort of style (for lack of a better comparision)

one thing I noticed and that cause I noticed it about my spinning recently too is you only turn to the left. and rarely turn to the right.
This isn't a massive problem but showed up when I was trynig to put a spin together with a few people. I could only do a move one way and a girl the other!
We did mirror moves in the end!
