inverted weave-crossed inverted weave pandemonium
WTF? there are 2 vids in the weave family forum; inverted weave and crossed inverted weave. is there a difference 
: only differnce i can tell is that rev dousan't seem to isolate it (and does 5bt of course). im having trouble making out revs vid even if i slow it down :oops: . i can do one of them (assuming there is a difference) if im spinning reverse on my right side, my right hand goes under(away from me) and over (towards me) my left wrist, my right hand leads through the buzzsaw and i would guess leads out the other side(dont have any poi with me so i can't check) . it looks very very much like a hyperloop but done with arms. i think im doing buzzsaw weave (i think spiralx's thread has me twitching in his direction). is there a crossed inverted weave? can anyone explain it or have a good vid?

I think what you're doing is a crossed inverted weave but it's hard to tell. Check out the thread I did in this section a while back called "3bt crossed inverted weave (was 5bt inverted weave)" or something, it's got a pretty detailed description.
I should be borrowing a video camera very soon and I'll do video clips of all of this stuff!

soz spiralx, for once u have made me even more confused. the thread title was "3bt inverted weave (was 5bt buzzsaw weave)". i think that im doing what u refered to in that thread as buzzsaw weave. iv had a play with my poi and i think that im doing what icon is doing in the vid.
right so what is a crossed inverted weave

:idea: right iv had a little play with my poi. if i do the wrap both poi are resting on top of my wrists (or both tucked underneath). there is another wrap i can do thats symetrical, one poi is resting on top of my wrist the other is tucked underneath. now im actually slightly less confused, i have 2 stop now, its late and id rather not see poi as im trying to sleep tonight.

i can do both now, ha ha ha ha ha.
played a lot today, i figure that i was indeed doing crossed inverted weave. *bows down to superior knowledge* the videos still confuse the fudge out of me. i swear that vid of icon in spiralx's thread is doing crossed inverted weave, and i still cant make out whatever revs doing in his vid.

1- rev is doing a reverse 3bt inversion.. aka crossed reverse 3bt inversion.. aka same side led 1rst degree inversion.. then I isolate it.. or isoalte it then show normal.. whatever.. I also do the reverse 5bt inversions.. aka the 5bt crossed reverse inversion.. aka.. crosshand led 1rst degree inversion..
2- the butterfly inversions are a whole other matter.. you can dabble in them if you like.. they involve half antispin..

Icon's video is a crossed inverted weave. If it's the one I've got called "buzzweave.avi" anyway.

don't worry the butterfly inversions were a joke. iv had a play with them and decided its impossible at least untill i get a vid of it.
icons video is uncrossed inverted weave ah? thank god. i thought i was having a stroke.
tell u what i love about the uncrossed inverted weave is that u can go into a hyperloop easily, also tangled weave. my poi m8ts just freak out when i show them stuff like that.

yeah.. makes your tangles really nice.. unfortunately they don't last long.. liek short programmed bursts.. lol...
if you think the 5bt is insane then wait until you learn to roll the 3bt straight into the 5bt on the same side.. back into the 3bt and across.. and other such nonsense.. as well as all 4 ways each direction horizontally..

you can keep going without ever leaving any one inversion..
the right side of a 5bt inversion can repeat itself back to back ad infinitum.. so can the 3bt motion... they act exactly like tangles... or like tangled buzzsaws rather..
which for the record always confused me when I did the bf inversion and arashi told me what I did wasnt an inversion because you can do it infront of you as a repeatable pattern.. LOL..
