I've just had that idea about how to make it looks like if we were all spinning together, or to improve the smoothness of the transitions
- we can pass props (staff , poi ..)
- we can pass something else (hat, ..?)
idea beeing that Mister X doing his video somewhere in the US, at the end of his freestyle, throw something in the air (which goes out of his camera viewing angle); which then drop from the sky in front of the camera of Mister Y living in the UK, who's catching it to start its freestyle.
object can be different (could be even more funny) .. change, evolve?!

haha, i've been thinking about this as well. Then perhaps if you're spinning in a little group you could start with someone throwing poi to you, have a play, toss them to someone else, etc, then throw them off screen to the next person.
Was thinking we could all do something with a camera up high in a field so the only back drop is grass. Shouldn't be too hard to make it look like we are all in the same field. Certainly french and english fields look the same, they probably look different in US but i think it would be fun.
I like the idea of the toys evolving, or staying the same. Or actually sending the set of poi around the globe so that it's exactly the same pair.

We should definitely work on a piece like this.
I'm thinking cj could almost be the narrator, like to change from one scene to the next you zoom out, play cj, and then switch cj balls, with a different person inside.
Also just chatting to rev and thinking of doing crazy 'calabi yau' (see Future Thoughts Forum) style poi and mixing it in with crazy 3d visuals of morphing calabi yau. eg rev's spinning >> gets sucked into the calabi yau and matt pops out the other side.
Wonder if you could super impose the calibi yau onto a poi head and zoom into it like a fractal.

anyone got any other good ideas i can play with, that didn't take to long to knock out. I'm up for learning my new trial software to see if i'm gonna buy it for the dvd. Just need some cool ideas to try.
