Hey all,
Finally back online so at last it was worth it to sign up. Sweet site matt, (you are poipoipoi -hehe thats easy to type- from hop are'nt you.) wicked work man, looks very smooth. How long you been up for?
Anyway, I've been at it for about 5 years now, poi, staff, anything goes. Been rapidilly getting into CJ for the past half a year, completly fallen in love with it. Working in theater tech. Anything goes for music. A wee bit of web tapping, just started though..... Dont really understand any of it, but I can fake a page or two. (fancy a link swap??)
Anyway thats bout it, nice work man, keep it up....

Thought it would be time for me to say hello as well....
Since I'm also from the Netherlands I thought it wouldn't be a problem if I hitched along on this thread.
So.
Well..
Hiya everybody
I'm also spinning for about a year now and learned quite a bit from friends and HoP, but when I read across the technical forum on the more complex moves I was sorta puzzled.... It was all just gibberish to me and had absolutely No idea what-so-ever what a hyperloop for instance was.
Then I somehow came across here and found a whole list of vid's finaly showing me what they are
It's a great site I must say and I'm sure it'll help me a lot in the future when trying to push my limits even further

I was just saying to olive the other day that it would be great to see you guys here more often.
I am indeed poipoipoi on hop. Although i don't hang out there that much these days.
Spherculism's been around for ages but this site's only been up for 13months. Started at the beginning of 2004. It's not intended to be a poi site ~ it's just that's all i can teach to an adequate standard. Staff Style Spherculism is on the cards but it's tricky because i don't really spin staff that much (mainly because staff don't fit in my pockets). Meg and Tim will be helping out with that side of things. Definitely want to get a lot of meteor vids up this year as well. I got really into 2 diablo over the summer and i know a few people in brighton who are badass eith diablo so there'll be some of that too.
Good to see you around anyhow, look forward to getting to know you better.

Once again wicked work on this site man, it's quality stuff. I can appriciate how much work it takes to get something like this up and running. Well done man. I love the tutorials too man. Nice big videos, decent quality and not so much waiting around for them to load. A set of staff lessons in the same style would be wicked. Loads more work
I might be in england in april for a bit, maybe we could get an old session going. I've seen quite alot of the footage for the last ball. Looks cool man, some wicked spinning. And that stuff with the poi on the diabolo string, damn! Funky stuff.
Anyway, enough of the sliming. I'm gonna go and have a look around
