NB for later reference:
*= wick/ end of staff
/= shaft of staff
.=nothing, I had to put it in to get the right shapes so ignore it
so, I'm a big fan of playing with squares and triangles with doubles (although I'm still trying to get the hang of triangular antispin), but I happened upon an interesting idea while playing the other day:
it's been a while since I'm supposed to post this, but I was away from Paris, lazy, and swamped with other things.
I wanted to further edit it before posting, but I couldn't find the time for it. And as I'm leaving tomorrow for one month in India, I'd better post this like it was previously edited (sketchy), rather than in late september
basically im new with this whole fire kind of stuff. but what im interested in is the staff. ive been trying to practice on my own but i doubt im anywhere near as good as the rest of you.
#1 ive been practising with a broom stick and i need to buy a staff but im not sure where to go and i really dont want to use the internet.
I have been practicing staff for a little over a year now, and those early dyas have pretty much trashed my first staff to peices. So now its time to but a new one!!
I'm on the lookout for a couple of fabulous staff swingers to help out with moderating the staff side of spherculism and do for staff pretty much what I have done for poi.
I'll add many more sections to the staff forums once I am told how to separate things up. Contact, doubles, throws, i dunno.
I have been doing contact for a couple of years, since i found glass's, bluecat's and meg's vids. I havent really seen much from the US, maybe im just not looking in the right places. Im hoping to find other contact staffers here to learn with/from. I LOOOOOVE all the inspirations from across the waters from all you contact staff lovelies! Wish i could get over there to lear from ya!
I play with a stick sometimes, only when I can get my hands on a decent broom stick since there really isn't one in my house.
So how many more of us are there on the dark side?
